Back in November 2012, co-creative and Web Studio NW media partner Portland filmmaker Parker Logan was approached by a small friend. Taylor Greene had a big idea. She wanted Parker Logan Media to make a movie for her so she could help raise money for her mom’s basketball team. The goal was huge- to raise $35,000 in just a few weeks so the Roosevelt high school Lady Rider basketball team could travel to Puerto Rico for their first tournament outside of their local community.
Well, we couldn’t resist. So Web Studio NW and Parker Logan Media teamed up. And while we didn’t have a budget for a movie, we did have some time to do a short video spot and web page for Taylor, so she could help get the word out.
It’s a great story. Share it and follow it here.
