Several months ago, I spent a lovely late fall afternoon with Amy and Jeremiah, their family and friends at Faith Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon. Amy and Jeremiah were super fun to spend time with and it was evident that their wedding day was about enjoying the moments.

My photo of my daughter on the cover of Willamette Valley Life Magazine
This was so fun. A local publisher Randy Hill asked for contributions to Willamette Vally Life Magazine, so I looked through my winter photos and found a favorite of mine from a significant ice/snow storm. We don’t get many here in the Willamette Valley, so when we do, the kids go crazy. It was easy to get a few shots of my daughter enjoying the snow and ice.
You can keep up with Randy’s adventures by following him on Facebook, or by attending a performance of The Oregon Valley Boys, a local western swing band with fabulous classic sounds.
Last week, I’m had a blast providing PR photography for individuals at three different events.
Thursday noon, 12/15/11, I covered the Annual Christmas Business Luncheon with Serena Morones of Morones Markee. Serena has been involved with this group for the past 14 years and was the MC at this luncheon. Photos from this event are up on this gallery.
Thursday evening, I hung out at The Old Church in Portland, Oregon with Enric Sifa & Michael Allen Harrison. Enric has been invited to sing in 15 performances throughout December. You can read more about Christmas at the Old Church here.

Friday evening, 12/16/11, I put on my party dress and attended the Family Building Blocks, Gingerbread Gala at Illahe and covered the event with Mary Louise VanNatta for her Statesman Journal column, “Out and About…with Mary Louise VanNatta.” There is a sneak peek of a few of the photos from the Gala on my FB page, the rest you can see in her Sunday column.
To view and purchase photos from any of my events, visit my online Zenfolio gallery. I’ll be posting current links they are edited.

The Last Hydrangea
From my walk last week during a break in the storm. It’s amazing what you can find if you look for it. This image and other fine art prints may be purchased from my Zenfolio Gallery.
I had a great start to this holiday portrait special at Madrona Ace Hardware. Yesterday I was able to photograph many families who brought their kids in to see Mr. & Mrs. Claus for the holiday open house.
Proofs from your session should be up in my Zenfolio Gallery within a few days. Click here for the link. After selecting your choice, just email me with the photo number.
Looking forward to seeing many more of you for a fun holiday portrait. Mr. & Mrs. Claus will not be reappearing, but the super cute Christmas- themed backdrop is perfect for a quick portrait to send to friends or family for Christmas.
I can be reached for appointments for sessions by email or phone. 503-930-6583 or DianaDettwyler@webstudionw.com
Friday 11/4/11 from 6:30-10pm, I had the honor of providing photography for the celebration for ANLM and guests at Imago Dei.

Here are a few details of the event. All were welcome, and the event was free.
The evening began with complimentary hors d’oeurves. Wine was available for purchase from Anam Cara Winery. Guests viewed a gallery of captivating photos of Rwanda by Esther Havens, participated in a silent auction with special gifts from Rwanda and from around Portland. The following vendors showcased special merchandise to benefit Africa New Life Ministries:
Hello Somebody(hello-somebody.com), Love 41( Facebook), Tabitha’s Hope (www.tabithas-hope.org), and Tabbies (www.tabbies.org).
Special guests included; Pastor Charles Mugisha Buregeya from Rwanda, Rwandan students, and Rwandan musician Enric Sifa.
