Friday 11/4/11 from 6:30-10pm, I had the honor of providing photography for the celebration for ANLM and guests at Imago Dei.

Here are a few details of the event. All were welcome, and the event was free.
The evening began with complimentary hors d’oeurves. Wine was available for purchase from Anam Cara Winery. Guests viewed a gallery of captivating photos of Rwanda by Esther Havens, participated in a silent auction with special gifts from Rwanda and from around Portland. The following vendors showcased special merchandise to benefit Africa New Life Ministries:

I know what you’re thinking… “What? Portraits at the local hardware store?” Yep! Ace is the place. For three Saturdays in November, the 12, 19, & 25, I’ll be in the store doing holiday portraits from 10am-2pm. The cost is only $15.00 per print, with the option of purchasing a frame from the gift department.
To reserve your time-slot, just call or email me.

One of the things I love to do when I photograph events is to look for those opportunities off in the corner that at first glance may seem rather ordinary. Nick was having a great time that evening, and was a popular attraction amidst the beautful art, interesting guests, and of course the star of the evening, Mayor Anna Peterson. This event was all about Anna as she announced her re-election campaign at The Roger Yost Art Gallery.
There were plenty of photo-ops throughout the evening, but the photo of Nick is my favorite! He was representing Gilamesh Brewing at the event and was pouring delicious craft brews for those old and new brew fans.
